Isard, president of The Foresight Companies, LLC, the premier management and financial consulting firm that specializes in providing services to the funeral and cemetery profession, announced the updated figures for the rate of indigenous inflation within the funeral profession for the year 2011. “The analysis shows some life sustaining trends but more than not shows a few very tragic indicators,” Isard said. “We think we are seeing the pinnacle of Average Revenue per Call and of Average Retail Sales,” he added fearfully.

Serious Fire at Member Funeral Home

NCFDA has been advised that Lyerly Funeral Home of Salisbury has sustained very serious damage from a fire and may be a total loss. NCFDA and District 8 Director Matt Staton have pledged to assist this member in any manner possible. In the coming days we will know more about how our members may be of service. Proposed Changes to the NCFDA Bylaws

The NCFDA Bylaws Committee met in February and agreed to recommend the changes noted in red. The changes to the firm membership definition (Page 2) was discussed with a special membership dues structure review committee that met in March. The changes will be offered to the NCFDA House of Delebates for their vote during the business session at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in the Auditorium Room of the Sheraton Imperial, Research Triangle Park, NC.
