Mrs. Pauline Teague Miller Torrence, age 93 passed away peacefully Friday, October 21, 2023 at the home of her daughter Patricia Lee in Chattanooga, TN.

Pauline was born May 25, 1930 in Wilkes County to John and Vettie Harrald Teague. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at a early age. Pauline was active in churches as long as health permitted. She taught in Sunday School and VBS, sung in choirs and gospel quartets. Pauline remained a real prayer warrior as long as she could talk. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Hixson, TN.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor Brian Blankenship, and Pastor H.C. Hardesty officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a; a son-in-law, John Tommy Eller, Sr; two sisters, Clara Miller, Rose Elledge, two brothers, Sanford Teague, Martin Teague; Sister-in-law, Bernice Teague; two brothers-in-law, Ralph Miller, and Rex Elledge.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Eller Lee (Danny); a son, Phil Miller (Judy); five grandchildren, John T. Eller, Jr. (Kim), Joshua P. Eller (Beth), Joel B. Eller (Myranda), Elizabeth Brown (David), Timothy Miller; five great-grandchildren, Ashley Eller Moore, J.T. Eller ,III, Grayson Eller, Zelda Eller, Marilyn Brown; a great-great grandson, Liam Moore; two sisters; Elgie Lilly, and Virginia Benton (Bob).

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials to the Donor’s Choice.
