Ronald Covington

Ronald "Ron" B. Covington, 66, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Duke University Hospital. He was born in Richmond County, NC to the late Bruce Odell Covington and Roxie Louise Speight Covington. Ron was a resident of Durham for most of his life. He was the co-owner and operator of AC Removal and Transport Services. Ron is survived by his son, Matt Covington (Missy); grandson, Nicholas Melton; sisters, Janice Swails (Jerry), Wanda Smith (Tommy); aunt, Nora Stone; and uncle, Glenn Speight. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 30th at Clements Funeral Home in Durham. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 1st at Clements Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Richmond County Memorial Park in Rockingham, NC.
